# Brook handover

Read [first-release acceptance](ACCEPTANCE.md) for purpose, unmet release obligations, preserved requirements and the evidence decision rule.

Brook's distinct business-action edition now lives in the Support author repository. Read `IMPLEMENTATION.md` for actual behavior, limitations and unaccepted legacy clauses; read `docs/SOURCE-LINEAGE.md` for original/parked source accounting.

It runs Base TanStack Start in a Cloudflare Worker with Hono APIs and D1. Native sign-in bootstraps only the configured initial operator; production does not seed demonstration data. Operators can record a request, add a private note, review real Stripe payment evidence, create an immutable refund draft, explicitly approve it, reconcile an uncertain provider outcome, and separately approve the customer reply and conditional resolution.

Local verification uses Node 26.8.1 and pnpm 10.12.4. `pnpm dev` creates ignored local secrets and a fresh empty local database; Cloudflare's local Email binding writes sign-in messages to disk. `pnpm verify` runs the bounded implementation checks; it is not full contract acceptance. Hosted test-mode acceptance on 2026-09-12 passed native verification, real intake, one Stripe test refund, read-only reconciliation, an accepted James reply, ordered resolution, replay protection, repeat-deploy preservation and session revocation. See [pilot evidence](verification/pilot-20260912/REPORT.md). Mailbox delivery and complete historical contract acceptance remain unverified. The four-edition family CI and publication completed from Support `7dbf0801c2bea000099e2c0222e57d67dc44de45`; generated Brook is `afafbd840aee2883d3fa1b2697db7303de2488b0`. This source-publication receipt is separate from the deployed pilot revision.

Original Brook requirements remain in `CONTRACT.md`. Source-path and immutable data naming are retained. The current UI never substitutes simulated payment, mail, AI or customer success for missing configuration.
