# Run Edit Run

> Complete, editable MIT software intended to run in accounts owners control. The maintained edition path should save total implementation and adaptation effort. Optional managed deployment and update services remain planned; pricing is not established.

Run: choose an edition and follow its actual operating instructions. Edit: change any source, including UI, core logic, schema and infrastructure. Run again: let the owner's agent adapt upstream improvements and verify requirements. Useful edition discoveries flow into shared source and tests, actual adoption and further refinement.

- Edition-owned entries also carry edition.json and sources.lock.json; operating descriptions and acceptance documents are copied when supplied.

## Commands

Follow the selected edition's README and operating description. In Lily, Orbit and Lamp source checkouts, `node scripts/operations.mjs describe` describes declared operations; `node scripts/edition-authoring/cli.mjs inspect` and `check` inspect source selections and integrity. These are not deployment or full product-acceptance checks. Other products retain their own commands.
