Bring your project

Bring your project

We can deploy, update and look after software you already have: Cloudflare Workers projects, assessed individually. Tell us about yours and we will reply by email.

What we can run

Your project runs on Cloudflare Workers, and its source is in a GitHub repository. With Assisted it stays in your own Cloudflare account and repository; with Managed we run it for you.

Every project builds and deploys differently, so we look at each one before we take it on. Nothing is set up until we have read it and agreed the setup with you.

What to send us

  • A link to the repository, and whether it is public.
  • What the project does and who uses it.
  • How it builds, deploys and is checked today: the commands you run.
  • The services it depends on: databases, storage, queues, email and AI providers.
  • The licence it is published under.
  • Whether you want it in your own accounts (Assisted) or run by us (Managed).

Your agent can write most of this for you. Give it this:

Read this repository and write a short summary for Run Edit Run: what the project does, how it is built and deployed, the commands that check it, the services and secrets it needs, and its licence. Only say a check passes if you ran it.

What happens next

We read the project and reply by email. If it is a fit, we set it up with you by hand, the way Assisted and Managed early access works today.

An accepted project carries a small description file, rer-project.json, at the root of its repository. It names the project, its licence, its source repository, its deployment target and its real build and verification commands. Your agent can write it from the repository, and we help.

Publish your app

If you maintain an open-source app, publish it on Run Edit Run. People choose it and get their own installation, and their agents change it to fit how they work. Some run it themselves. Some pay us to deploy, update and manage it.

The creator programme is planned: makers will be paid 50% of collected monthly management fees for their project’s eligible paid installations, after taxes, refunds and chargebacks. Hosting, usage and AI credits are separate and are not shared. The creator programme terms set out the rule and who is eligible, and the creator page shows how it works.

What we need from you

  • You control the project: you administer its source repository.
  • Who we pay: the person or business that receives your share.
  • A supported release: a tagged release of your project that we can build.
  • Its runtime and hosting targets. Managed support depends on them, and publishing starts with that check.

Send the same details as above, and tell us you want to publish.
