Keep the stars. Get paid like SaaS.

Publish your open-source app. People choose it and get their own installation. In our planned creator programme, when they pay us to manage it, half of that management fee is yours, with no billing to build and no servers to run for them.

The old way pays in thanks.

Stars, thank-yous and issues from people who use what you built. They are welcome here, and they stay yours. A star has just never paid for the hours.

Publish it once. They make it theirs.

Publish your app on Run Edit Run. People choose it and get their own installation, and their agents change it to fit how they work. Some run it themselves. Some pay us to deploy, update and manage it, in their cloud or ours.

Half of every management fee.

50% of collected monthly management fees attributable to your project’s eligible paid installations, after taxes, refunds and chargebacks. Hosting, provider and agent usage and AI credits are separate and are not shared.

Planned: the share is paid only once every condition in the terms holds.

You build it. We run it.

Getting paid like SaaS used to mean running one: billing, servers, deploys, updates and being on call. For the installations people pay us to manage, that work is ours.

You

build the product: code, releases, roadmap, docs and community. Questions about how your app should work reach you as they do today.

Owners

choose it, change it with their agents and decide what they need. They keep their source, their data and a practical exit.

We

deploy the installations people pay us to manage, in their cloud or ours, carry your releases into each one, check every update against what its owner asked for, keep them running and bill for it.

no billing to build. no servers to run for them. nobody on call for their installations.

we do not sell your product, answer product questions for you or decide your licence.

Nothing changes hands.

Your repository, licence, name, roadmap and releases stay where they are. We manage from your project’s own source. There is no permission fee for open-source use. Owners keep their source and their data, and can take both to their own accounts.

Our own apps take the same path, HappyToHelp first.

Keep the stars. Get paid like SaaS.

  • You control the project.
  • We know who gets paid.
  • There is a supported release.
  • Installations are attributed to your project.
  • Each payout is settled against a record.
  • Managed support depends on your project’s supported runtime and hosting targets, and publishing starts with that check.
  • The terms define the management fee on each plan.
